A massive concrete block of socialist charm from the outside, this museum hosts a very large collection of artifacts from all periods of mongolian history. It begins with tools of the first settlers from the stone age, and itesm from the bronce and iron ages. Unsurprisingly, the rich culture of the mongolian world eimpire founded by Genghis Khan is given the broadest display. And finally we also see the documents of socialist and modern times.
